I LOVE YARN DAY 2012

Yes, there is a national I Love Yarn Day and I love it!  A day to celebrate something that makes so many of us happy, happy, happy.  Whether you are a yarncrafter or the recipient of something made by one.  This day touches most of us.  Ever think about those store bought sweaters?  You really appreciate them on a chilly day and guess what...  They too started out as YARN.  So what did you do to celebrate I Love Yarn Day?

Using a couple of designs found on the Craft Yarn Council (CYC) website, we created badges to show our love for yarn. 

Those who did not knit or crochet but wanted to share in the joy of the day were welcomed to 'pick' a flower to wear.

And They're Off!!!

The day before shipping

We have just wrapped up our 2012 Hats for Preemies project!!! We were so inspired by this project, as we ohhhh'd and awwwed as each hat was completed and turned in for shipping.

   

All wrapped up and ready to go.

   



       We shipped out 105 hats to
      Georgetown University
      Hospital this past
      Wednesday.

Thank you Georgetown for allowing us to serve you.
